Mark Magnus, DPM

Dr. Mark Magnus was born in Chicago and raised in the northern suburbs of Illinois. He graduated magna cum laude in Biological Sciences from Denison University in Granville, Ohio. He earned his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine at the Dr. William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago, IL. He then completed his three-year surgical residency training at the prestigious Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, Wisconsin.

Dr. Magnus went on to complete an advanced surgical fellowship at the world-renowned Weil Foot, Ankle, and Orthopedic Institute in Chicago, Illinois, with specialized training in sports medicine, arthroscopy, regenerative medicine techniques and reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Magnus is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is board certified through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He has publications in the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery, Clinics in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery, and Podiatry Today.

Dr. Magnus strives to bring the most compassionate care with a focus on individualizing treatment plans to match the needs of each patient. He places emphasis on evidence-based medicine and conservative treatment prior to consideration of surgery. He treats all conditions

Outside of patient care, Dr. Magnus enjoys spending time with his wife, friends and family. His personal interests include film, guitar, hockey, hiking, and golf.
