Alexander Tokarski, DPM

tokarski Dr. Tokarski graduated magna cum laude with a bachelors of science degree in biology with a concentration in molecular biology and biochemistry from Saint Louis University. Following undergraduate training he graduated in the top 25% of his class at Des Moines University where he served as vice president of the class while earning his doctorate of podiatric medicine. Dr. Tokarski was able to train at the prestigious residency program at Gundersen Health System in LaCrosse Wisconsin where he was exposed to a full range of foot and ankle conditions. While in residency Dr. Tokarski was published in the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery for his work on examining the durability of a limb salvage procedure in addition to a meta analysis and systematic review of the scarf bunionectomy. Originally from the Chicagoland area.

Dr. Tokarski is an avid fan of the Chicago White Sox and enjoys reading fantasy novels (Wheel of Time, Realm of the Elderlings, Dresden Files), playing dungeons and dragons, and studying chess in his free time. He is currently board qualified through American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery in both foot and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery.
